H&M Glamour Wishlist

Christmas is growing closer by the second and just about everywhere you turn, there's an advert for something to do with the festive season. This months UK Glamour magazine is celebrating the run up to Christmas by offering readers 20% off in H&M stores nationwide and being a big fan of the H&M A/W clothing, I couldn't wait to compile a wish list of items I'd like to buy with my voucher.

During the summer time H&M can often be a hit or miss store for me, but when the winter comes around, I find myself never leaving the store. I love their winter collections as they tend to sell items that can be easily layered up in the colder weather and dresses that can be easily adapted to suit the different climates. Also during the winter time, H&M seem to get their colour schemes just right with beautiful autumnal burgundies, navies and yellows contrasted with jet blacks and pristine whites.

The first item on my autumnal H&M wish list is this fake fur jacket with leather imitation sleeves. My initial thought when looking at this jacket was warmth. Fake fur is a great way to get snuggly and wrapped up this winter and the leather imitation sleeves not only help jazz this jacket up, but they add a slight sophistication to overall look. This jacket would look great teamed up with the burgundy zip top satchel - a style that is highly reminiscent of the popular Michael Kors Selma handbags, but at a fraction of the price.

Next on my H&M must-haves are these fantastic sequin leggings and simple, yet chic white silk blouse. These leggings are a great addition to a winter wardrobe as they add effortless sparkle and can be dressed up or down to suit all your seasonal occasions. My preference would be to dress these leggings with a soft silk white blouse for a sophisticated, yet fun look.  I would then finish this outfit with a statement necklace like the one I have selected and a pair of understated black heels, like these ones on the wish list that are versatile and can adapt to any outfit within my wardrobe.

What would you spend your 20% off voucher on?

August Payday Wish List

I can't believe how fast August has flown and the fact that it is almost payday again. With less than two weeks until my wedding, a hectic work schedule and lots of blogging to be doing, it's no wonder that I cannot keep track of time. I'm looking forward to two weeks from now when I'll be sat on a beach in Ibiza with no cares in the world and being a newly married woman. As much as I have loved planning every moment of my wedding, I'm just wanting to get it over with and embark on new journeys with my hubby-to-be.
This Payday will be my last one before the wedding so I'm not really supposed to be spending too much, but with all the autumn lines coming into the stores I know that I will not be able to resist shopping. Thankfully there are a lot of sales on at the moment and sites such as LoveSales are making life easier when it comes to grabbing discounts. I recently came across the website Love Sales whilst searching for discount codes for stores. As I'm no longer a student I'm unable to get discounts towards my favourite clothing stores and my wild shopping days have been toned down. I loved that feeling of grabbing a bargain and have missed that since my NUS card has been chopped up. Love Sales* notifies those who have signed up to the website when sales are about to take place and harbours all the big sales on one site, making it easy to grab those discounts. Working with brands such as River Island, ASOS, Debenhams, Kurt Geiger, Zara and many more, Love Sales allows you to click on your desired item and monitor the price. The site will then alert you the instant they are in the sale.

The three items I'm currently lusting over at the moment are this shift dress from River Island, the Estee Lauder Double-wear foundation and these snazzy Kurt Geiger Anja court shoes. The dress from River Island has leather panelling and I'm a sucker for anything with leather, the Estee Lauder foundation is the one I'd like to wear for my wedding and the Kurt Geiger shoes will be a perfect pair of court shoes to get me through the autumn.

Payday Wishlist

We haven't even reached half way point in the month yet and I'm dreaming of payday. This month will be first full time wage I have ever received and although I need to sensible because I have a wedding to organise and a car to save up for, I can't stop dreaming of clothes, clothes and more clothes - with bags and accessorises to top them off. Every time I walk into a clothes store I feel like a kid in a candy shop, I just want everything. Spring and Summer are both my favourite seasons as they involve a lot of bright, bold colours and floral patterns. These months give me a chance to unleash my inner hippie and wear so much more dresses than winter. I'm not really a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, I prefer shapely dresses and stilettos.

After much debating,  I have managed to narrow down my June payday wish list and although it may seem pricey, I think I'm being rather good to say I'll be getting a really nice cash injection at the end of the month.

                                                              Hair cut and colour

My hair is looking a bit dull at the moment and my roots are beginning to show. A trip is needed to my favourite salon in Huddersfield, Studio 18 to make me looking sparkling new.

                                                     A Michael Kors Selma Satchel

So many people have Michael Kors handbags these days that they aren't considered as much as a luxury as they were in the past. However, I'm a massive fan of Michael Kors fan - I've got an MK watch and MK shoes, I clearly could do with a handbag to complete the set.

                                                         Bijoux Bazaar Boson Ring
I've always been in love with YSL arty cocktail rings, but I've never got round to buying them and when I've felt like buying one I haven't had the money. So many sites these days are making look-a-likes of big brand items and this Bijoux Bazaar ring looks almost like a replica of YSL. The Boston ring from Bijoux Bazaar is at a much more affordable price of £8.

Topshop Vintage Bloom Dress
As mentioned previously, I am a massive fan of florals. Most of my wardrobe is made up of floral dresses. The dress featured in the above image is the Vintage Bloom Bodycon dress from Topshop. I love the bursts of purple and orange flowers and the hourglass silhouette of this dress. It would be great to wear in any type of weather. Dressed up with a pair of black tights and a blazer or worn with bare legs and scandals in the sun.

Is there anything that you are currently saving up for?

Spring Time Wishlist

Spring time is always my favourite fashion season. Out come the all the vibrant juicy oranges, plum purples and aztec prints, contrasted with subtle pastel colours, beiges and crisp whites. I always find spring to be the most classically feminine season. The clothes are modest - covered up enough to keep you warm through the ongoing blustery winds, but short enough to reveal a little bit of leg or midriff once the sun comes out. As a fan of vintage fashion, I love how spring time clothing is all about the subtle transition to summer and whilst we are seeing shorter skirts and cami tops on the horizon, the majority of clothing still leaves a lot to the imagination.

As I was browsing the rails in Topshop today, I had a sudden burst of inspiration for a wish list post, mainly brought on by this sunburst orange lace dress I had fallen head over heels for. This dress is the Premium Lace Pencil Dress new in to Topshop and features beautifully tailored short sleeves, a bodycon lace pencil skirt and a crop top overlay. At £78 this dress is a little bit pricey, but it will definitely become a staple item that you can take through season to season. The design is timeless and the colour will light up your wardrobe.

The next item on my wish list is this Pink Colour Block Structured Tote bag from River Island. I quite like my River Island handbags. They always seem to last me quite awhile, they are able to carry around my Macbook and they always have such a beautiful collection. This season River Island has many pastel colours and cream handbags, it is every girly girls dream.

Next is this wonderful Hugo Boss watch. For quite sometime now, I have been looking for a new everyday watch and I have struggled to find one that quite matches my style. I am forever in love with Michael Kors, but for a day to day watch, I find them to be a little bit too dressy. I want a watch that would look good with my hair tied back and a pair of jeans without making me look too overdressed. This Hugo Boss watch is simple, yet elegant and I love striking clock face.

Finally, to complete the outfit I have opted for a classic pair of Kurt Geiger court shoes. I don't think a day goes by without me sneakily browsing the KG website or me day dreaming of buying a new pair of shoes. Kurt Geiger create the most versatile shoes that fit around your life, it's impossible not to find a pair for the mood you are in. These are the Ellen court shoes - classic, beautifully shaped and perfect for this seasons soft colours. Coincidentally, these heels are also the same name as my late grandma - a wonderfully classy woman with impeccable taste.

Links of London: Valentine Wishlist

Finding the perfect gift for Valentines Day can always be difficult and with all the chocolates, heart hugging teddy bears and red roses on the high street, it is often hard to be original. I like a man who can think outside the box, give me something that has meaning and that isn't afraid to show his romantic side - luckily I have a man like that, but some women aren't that lucky. Sometimes you can be waving a piece of paper in their faces and they still wouldn't get the hint what to buy you. Don't get me wrong, Valentines Day isn't really about presents, but if they aren't going to spoil you all rest of the year, may be this is the best day to do it.

Links of London are giving you the chance to win your own Valentine jewellery wish-list from their site, up to the value of £1,000. You can try win a few items for yourself, grab some jewels to share with a friend or have a go at winning the jewellery for someone special.

My wish list consists of the 'Night Time Garden Dawn Flower' bracelet, the 'Effervescence Black Mini Pearl' ring, the 'Red Heart' and the 'Owl Graduation' charms. I choose the bracelet because it is floral and allows me to channel my inner hippie and care free side, the ring was chosen because pearls remind me of my grandma and the charms are symbolic of mine and my partners relationship and also mark the year that I am hoping to graduate.

Bon Prix Wishlist

Bon Prix Dress*

The image above is one you may recognise from a previous blog post.  The blog post was about the Bon Prix clothing line and the beautiful glitter dress I was sent. When I wrote the post I admitted that Bon Prix wasn't my first choice of shopping destination and that I regarded it as an 'older woman's' store in the past, however upon receiving that dress my outlook had changed and I fell in love with quality, the fit and the style. The dress is not only one of my favourites, but that post was one of my most popular on the blog, still getting a high amount of page views. It was this reason that I decided to have a look at Bon Prix again and see what I could next purchase.

I've always had a lust for leather. Leather trousers, shorts, jackets and even t-shirts - I have to have it. Whilst browsing Bon Prix, I decided to make a wish list and it comes as no surprise that this dress was first on the mood board.  The thing I like the most about it is the fact that it isn't all leather. It looks more sophisticated this way and even could double up as a work outfit. Sometimes a little bit too much leather can be over the top, but this combination looks great and very fitting with the autumn colour scheme and I could easily see this becoming one of my favourite party dresses coming up to winter.

My future brother-in-law is always having a go at me saying my bags are massive. I admit it, I love my oversized bags because they fit all my shopping in without me carrying around the extra hand luggage. However, I freely admit that it may be time to purchase a few smaller bags so I can attempt to look a little more sophisticated. I think this little tassel tote bag is absolutely adorable. Beautiful colours, lots of detail and for £30 its a steal. If there's one thing I love the most on this wish list, that is it.

Finally, they're not quite Jeffrey Campbell spiked Loitta's, but I think these spiked back patent court shoes look really snazzy and complete my 'rock'n'roll' vibe outfit. I can easily image wearing these on a night out or to a gig and the heel looks at a comfortable everyday wearing height. As much as I love my stilettos, since my knee operation I do have to be slightly careful with what I wear on my feet. One slip and I could end up reversing all the months of physio I've had in the past. Then again, if I was told I'd ever have to give up heels, I would cry like there's no tomorrow, sobbing endlessly into my favourite Kurt Geigers.

So there's my Bonprix wish list, what do you think of my choices?

Wishlist

When you're sat in bed on a Monday evening and feeling pretty unwell, your mind starts wondering. Often, my head is full of pretty, feminine items that I wish would suddenly appear in my wardrobe. My wishlist is full of amazing pretty items from stores such as Mulberry, Jimmy Choo, Ted Baker and Gap. There are currently some  great deals on Gap items with coupons if you long for the jacket below or any other pretty items on your wishlist.

Right now, these are the items that I would love to own:

Jimmy Choo Sunglasses

The upcoming Mulberry 'Del Rey' handbag. Named after the beautiful singer, Lana Del Rey, the bag will be launched in May. I may have to get saving.

Kandee Shoes - Rolla Cola.

This beautiful NARS  highlighting duo.
Ted Baker Dress

Cute leather Jacket from GAP.

Valentino Perfume - Valentina

As lovely as it would be for Angelina to stop by my wardrobe, I doubt that would happen, but right now I would love my hair the same colour as this photograph. She happens to be one of my favourite actresses and right now, I have total hair envy again.

What would you love in your wardrobe right now?

♥ 2012 Wishlist ♥

2012 is supposed to be my year of saving, not splurging and to control my spending habits, I have created a beautiful wish list. Hopefully in creating my wish list, it will point me towards the items I would actually like to buy, rather than impulse buying, but I can't make any promises on that front. I also hope to save at least £1000 of my University loan, so that in the future it can be invested into work experience or something career related. This University year so far, I've already managed to save £500, so I'm hoping I'll be a good student in 2012.

Going back to the wish list, the items I have chosen are classic pieces that I'm sure will look brilliant in my wardrobe for the next few years, providing I don't gain or lose too much weight.

The first item I would very much like is this coat from Urban Outfitters. This is a timeless design that very much reminds me of the 1940s. I'm obsessed with old Hollywood actresses and I could really imagine seeing this coat. The fur cuffs and neck trim make this coat all snuggly and warm and provide a vintage-esque appeal. At £135, this coat isn't exactly cheap, but I'm sure it will remain in my wardrobe for years to come.

In 2011 I lost almost six stone and reinvented myself. The only bad thing about this experience is renewing my wardrobe. It is every girls dream of shopping once you have lost a lot of weight, but it can be quite pricy in the long run. Ever since I started my weight loss, I told myself I would treat myself to some lovely expensive underwear once I had lost the weight and I've always wanted to try the 'Agent Provocateur' brand. I can now say that I have purchased some underwear in the sales and it's making it's way to me as I speak and I'll be doing a review once it arrives.

I have to say that as of late, New Look have really upped their game in the shoe department and not only do they create beautiful shoes, they are really comfy too! I would love to buy these shoes from New Look as they so elegant and have a beautiful Christian Louboutin style. These babies are £59.99, but on the plus side, I can get student discount...

White is such a classic colour and admittedly, I barely own anything that is cream or white, so this dress would be perfect. Every dream dreams of having a Marilyn Monroe moment and this dress could be the one for me. I have many dresses in this style, so I know that it will suit me. This dress is from River Island and it's £35.

I know these days it seems that every girl and her dog has a Louis Vuitton handbag, but the design is classic, the handbags are beautifully made and to be honest, it is something I could see me using on a regular basis. This April will be my 21st birthday, so I'm hoping to treat myself to this beautiful bag with my birthday money and savings.

I'm currently on a make-up ban after realising my collection is taking over my bedroom. I still have many items left to blog about and i'll probably do a collection post very soon.

What's in your 2012 wish list?
