Ted Baker Makeup Case

I have a soft spot for anything Ted Baker. The clothes are irresistible, feminine and beautifully cut and their jewellery is to die for. I've never been really keen on their handbags as they are a little bit plastic looking for my liking, but when I saw this beautiful Ted Baker makeup case, I knew I had to have it in my collection. My last makeup case was from Primark and although it was rather nice for a budget price tag, the zip broke shortly after the purchase. I have been delaying buying a makeup case for a considerable amount of time, but this pink little beauty caught my attention in House of Fraser a few days ago.

This Ted Baker vanity case is lined with pink silk fabric and ruches to create a secure hold on your cosmetics. The makeup case exhibits the classic Ted Baker logo and comes in a variety of different colours. I chose the pink as it reflects my girly, vintage style. You can tell just by looking at this pink case that it is sturdy and is made from quality fabrics and for the £29, it's worth splashing the cash.

Ted Baker Polly Review

Ted Baker Polly

I've always been a fan of the Ted Baker clothing and jewellery line, but until this Christmas I didn't even know that they made a variety of scents. When I was finally made aware of their existence, I instantly fell in love with the beautiful little bottles and knew I had to have one in my collection. For this review, I picked the scent 'Polly', which has a sweet floral scent and exhibits the combined notes of mandarin, red berries, peach, jasmine, honeysuckle, peony and base coats of white musk.

When I first sprayed this fragrance I was greeted with a beautiful subtle floral scent that settled easily onto my wrist. Eau de Toilettes are usually known for being softer fragrances that don't last as long as perfume. however the Ted Baker Polly* outlasted my prized Michael Kors perfume and stayed on my wrist all day through.

Ted baker eau de toilette bottle

The bottle is a beautiful girly pink colour and the top has the traditional Ted Baker logo. At £15 for this fragrance, you really can't go wrong. Admittedly, at first I was a little bit skeptical about trying this product as I didn't think it could compare to any of my other perfumes and fragrances, but this is up there in my favourites now and I can easily see myself buying the entire collection.

Christmas Inspiration: Psyche

When it comes to the winter I never know what to wear. I'm much more of a summer girl with an incredible amount of summer dresses in my wardrobe and very little jumpers. Todays inspiration is drawn from the Psyche designer website and this beautiful Armani Jeans handbag I've fallen in love with. Christmas time is my favourite time of year to invest in a designer outfit. Being a student I don't have the most amount of money, but I feel that at Christmas time I owe myself treat and I like to feel glamorous. After all the weather is horribly cold outside, the skies are gloomy and the days feel like they're going faster, I think we all deserve a pick me up. The first item on this wishlist is the Michael Kors Embellished top. The colours gold and white remind me of Christmas angels and the top looks like it would be a great piece for the wardrobe as it's multi seasonal. I can imagine wearing this through the summer to the winter period with no problems and it will still look glam whatever the seasonal trends. The Michael Kors blouse is a little bit pricey at £193 - there's no problem with dreaming. The second item is one that I could easily see myself spending money on, which is the Armani Jeans Tan Eco Leather Tassel Shopper Bag. I just love the retro design and yet again, the versatility of the product. I like clothes and accessories in my wardrobe that are interchangeable and will go with everything. It's okay to buy one off pieces every now and then, but buying items that can make not just one, but several outfits is more cost effective. The handbag is £167 which is a reasonable price for a designer handbag. The shoes I have mentioned in the top collage are from Ted Baker, possibly one of my favourite high street designers out there. For a clothing company that was predominantly male to begin with, I think they make classically beautiful womens clothes and I don't think there has been a collection I haven't fallen head over heels for in the last few years. Finally, the Multi bird pencil skirt adds a lovely finishing touch to the outfit with it's vibrant birdie print. The skirt is by designer Kate Fearnley and it's something I would be more than happy to have in my wardrobe. It costs £99

My second outfit choice is more of an evening look or a high class shopping look for when you're grabbing cocktails with the friends on a Saturday afternoon. Yet again I've teamed this outfit with the leather oversized shopper bag by Armani Jeans as I really do think it's beautiful. This dress is by one of my favourite companies French Connection - I'm in love with red leopard print at the moment and I think this dress looks subtly festive. French Connection always have an amazing collection of Christmas party dresses and this is definitely one of them. The Red Winter Simba Printed Cotton Pencil dress can be bought on the Psyche website for approximately £84. Finally, I've added a little bit more MK to my outfits by styling this dress with the Michael Kors black suede court shoes with studded detail. If only I had enough money to buy all of these.

Ted Baker Earrings from Zalando

I remember a time where I never used to buy jewellery and when I got dressed up for a night out it was never in my mind. In April this year my auntie sadly passed away and when I inherited all her jewellery it made me realise how much one little item holds so much personality. My auntie was a costume jewellery fanatic and the amount of beaded necklaces that I have in my draw would happily keep children playing dress up entertained for hours. When I look at all the times, it's funny looking back at all the memories and thinking to myself I remember her wearing that at Christmas or 'that necklace is definitely something I would have bought for her.' Since then, I've been wearing jewellery everyday and I couldn't imagine not having something sparkling on my night. Of course, I've worn my engagement ring for the last two years and I would never take that off, but I've been surprised how a simple necklace or a pair of statement earrings can do wonders for your outfit. No wonder my aunt always looked glamorous - she matched her jewellery with everything she owned.

All these memories that have evoked from my aunties jewellery box has sparked a new love for bracelets, rings and necklaces and I've realised that I would love to start collecting more jewellery for if anything happens to me in the future when I have children, I'd love them to wear my prize possessions and think about the memories that we shared.

I was recently given a voucher by Zalando to pick something for review and to let you know about the wonderful items you can buy on their website. Zalando is a little bit like an online department store - there's many different brands for you to browse. Zalando believe in stress free shopping and that's why the house so many brands under one roof with complimentary shipping and 30 day money back guarantee. Since I've had an obsession with collecting jewellery lately, I choose these beautiful Ted Baker earrings to add to my collection. I thought they had a really classic, versatile look and at £25 they're a bargain. When it came to postage, Zalando was very quick and I got emails up until the day of delivery and when they arrived at my door, making the whole process of internet shopping effortless.

Finally, here's three lots of jewellery I'm currently looking to add to my collection soon.

Left side bracelet: I've already ordered this and it's in the post.

As lovely as it would be for Angelina to stop by my wardrobe, I doubt that would happen, but right now I would love my hair the same colour as this photograph. She happens to be one of my favourite actresses and right now, I have total hair envy again.

What would you love in your wardrobe right now?
