Primrose Hill Jewellery

Firstly, Happy New Year to all my amazing followers, I can't believe we're now in 2014. This year is the year I hopefully graduate, get my first full time job, move house and get married, I have so many exciting things ahead, I squealed with happiness when the clock chimed midnight. The first post of 2014 is a look at the jewellery brand Primrose Hill and their gorgeous, versatile pieces.

According to their website, "Primrose Hill is fast becoming the UK's leading on-line jewellery outlet, bringing together (their) own label jewellery and top selling jewellery styles from a diverse range of established designers."

I was sent this beautiful genuine freshwater pearl bracelet* and cocktail ring for review. The bracelet is incredibly pretty and twinkles elegantly in the light. The silver separators make the bracelet look expensive and help give the bracelet an exquisite look. When it comes to the quality of the bracelet, it's really lightweight, yet sturdy. It's not the type of bracelet that feels loose around your wrist and like it would snap in a few seconds. This bracelet fits my wrist perfectly.

The second item is this beautiful cocktail ring. In the images the ring looks bigger than it actually is in real life, but they do say big things come in small packages and this is definitely a little gem to have in your jewellery box. This is a sterling silver turquoise oval ring* and I love how vintage it looks. As for quality, the ring seems easy to wear, fits perfectly and feels more expensive than it actually is. The ring is rather versatile and would suit either a dressed up or casual look and it's comfortable to wear on an everyday basis.

What I love most about Primrose Hill jewellery is that all their range is versatile and affordable. If you're looking for jewellery that is simple, yet elegant Primrose Hill should be definitely one of your first choices. I was blown away by the quality of these products and will definitely be shopping there again in the near future.

Seasons Online Wishlists

My obsession with jewelry will soon be turning into a slight shopping addiction. Nearly every evening I'm spending more and more time browsing the internet and looking for quirky pieces of costume jewelry. It all started when my auntie died and my sudden urge to collate a box full of jewels that represent my personality and something that I could easily be remembered by if something ever happened. Its like my friend - I could never imagine her without a patterned scarf and everytime I see one in the store I begin to think 'should I buy her that and keep it for her Christmas present'. Her skull patterned scarves are her trade mark. Unfortunately I'm a student and I don't have the biggest budget to splurge on accessories, but there are so many quirky independent designers or stores that sell some fabulous pieces for a very small little tag. I recently came across the site Seasons Online and fell in love with their variety of unique bracelets, necklaces and even scarves. Their prices are incredibly cheap giving you the opportunity to hoard away plenty of jewellery in just one shop. Why not invest in a mustache necklace in honour of Movember? Or unleash your inner hippy with the cute peace logo bracelet? Although I'm not religious I love the dangling cross necklace and the rosary bead bracelet.

There's not only a great selection of jewellery, there's also plenty of fashionable scarves to keep you warm this winter. As someone who loves the term 'rock chick' I enjoy wearing skull scarves and trying to look a little bit alternative. The beautiful left hand side skull scarf looks feminine with the pastel pink back colour, but adds an artistic vibrant touch with the coloured touch. If you're a fan of Marilyn Monroe like myself, you may like this Marilyn Monroe scarf you can buy. This is definitely a purchase I'll be looking to make on payday. Marilyn Monroe is a big role model for me and her style is unforgettable.

Finally, I can't get over the price of these wonderful earrings. They start at as little as £2.50 and there are many creative designs for you to purchase. I'm a big fan of animal designs when it comes to jewellery and the London earrings look perfect for my trip down south in the next few weeks. The pearl drop earrings and the dreamcatcher set look elegant and would perfectly suit a night on the town outfit.

What do you think of the Seasons Online range?

Ted Baker Earrings from Zalando

I remember a time where I never used to buy jewellery and when I got dressed up for a night out it was never in my mind. In April this year my auntie sadly passed away and when I inherited all her jewellery it made me realise how much one little item holds so much personality. My auntie was a costume jewellery fanatic and the amount of beaded necklaces that I have in my draw would happily keep children playing dress up entertained for hours. When I look at all the times, it's funny looking back at all the memories and thinking to myself I remember her wearing that at Christmas or 'that necklace is definitely something I would have bought for her.' Since then, I've been wearing jewellery everyday and I couldn't imagine not having something sparkling on my night. Of course, I've worn my engagement ring for the last two years and I would never take that off, but I've been surprised how a simple necklace or a pair of statement earrings can do wonders for your outfit. No wonder my aunt always looked glamorous - she matched her jewellery with everything she owned.

All these memories that have evoked from my aunties jewellery box has sparked a new love for bracelets, rings and necklaces and I've realised that I would love to start collecting more jewellery for if anything happens to me in the future when I have children, I'd love them to wear my prize possessions and think about the memories that we shared.

I was recently given a voucher by Zalando to pick something for review and to let you know about the wonderful items you can buy on their website. Zalando is a little bit like an online department store - there's many different brands for you to browse. Zalando believe in stress free shopping and that's why the house so many brands under one roof with complimentary shipping and 30 day money back guarantee. Since I've had an obsession with collecting jewellery lately, I choose these beautiful Ted Baker earrings to add to my collection. I thought they had a really classic, versatile look and at £25 they're a bargain. When it came to postage, Zalando was very quick and I got emails up until the day of delivery and when they arrived at my door, making the whole process of internet shopping effortless.

Finally, here's three lots of jewellery I'm currently looking to add to my collection soon.

Left side bracelet: I've already ordered this and it's in the post.
Right hand side bracelet: www.topshop.com

Have you ordered any jewellery lately?
