Rare London A/W Preview

Last night a few bloggers and I were invited to the Renaissance Hotel in Manchester for a night of chocolate making and cocktails to launch the Rare London A/W collection. Attendees included the beautiful Lily Kitten, Victoria from In The Frow, HannahLouiseF and Becca from the Fashion Train as well as many more stylish, wonderful girlies.

As you can see from the above photograph, I will be not giving up my day job anytime soon to become a master chocolatier, but I really enjoyed learning about the art of making chocolate and having the chance to give it ago myself. Making chocolate is harder and a lot messier than it looks, but it homemade chocolate truffles taste much better than ones you can buy over the counter and you can make any flavour you like.

In the middle of our chocolate masterclass (trying not to get chocolate over all the clothes ), we were shown an array of beautiful garments from the Rare London A/W collection. The collection involved lots of faux fur, sequins and striking prints, as well as mesh skirts, leopard print and polka dots. The collection has something for everyone this winter.

One of my favourite dresses from the A/W14 range has to be this striking lace and fur mix dress. I love the clash of both fabrics and the daring yet fun design. The sheer lace top has beautiful gold detailing for extra sparkle over the upcoming festive season.

Also on display was a collection of big sparkly jewels from costume necklaces to big gem cocktail rings, studded bracelets and statement earrings. I fell in love with turquoise cocktail ring featured below last night and I can't wait to eventually get my hands on it.

I had such a lovely memorable night with great company and some beautiful designs. What could be better than a mixture of cocktails, fashion and chocolate? It's heaven for us women.

Have you shopped at Rare London before?
