Autumn Florals & Competition

Just because summer is over, it doesn't mean we should be hanging up our floral dresses. In fact, florals look great all year long. I admit, during the summertime I'm a massive hoarder of floral, vintage inspired dresses and when it comes to Autumn, I often don't know what to do with them. However, teamed up with a blazer, a pretty scarf and some court shoes, floral dresses can become fantastic transitional pieces for your wardrobe, taking you through summer straight to Autumn and Winter.

This Chi Chi clothing Maisie dress is one of my favourite floral dresses. I love the vintage patterning, the block white hemline and the hourglass silhouette the flared skirt helps create. Boned under the bust with a padded sewn in bra and elasticated at the back, this dress is made for optimum comfort and is perfect for any Autumn parties, weddings or cocktail nights. One thing I would warn you about is that Chi Chi sizes differ dramatically from dress to dress. I have several Chi Chi dresses ranging from a size 8 to a size 12, all which fit me brilliantly, but all in different sizes. If you make sure you read the size guides before purchasing, you won't be disappointed.

Because Chi Chi clothing and I love this dress so much, we have teamed up to give you the chance to win your own Chi Chi Maisie dress in a size 10. Open to UK residents aged 18 & above, all you have to do is enter via the rafflecopter form below. The competition ends on 14/11/2014, good luck!

Have you shopped at Chi Chi before?

  3. I love floral print. I wear it in Winter too, and why not, as you say. In Winter I team my short floral skirts with black tights and wedgy boots. I think that look is just as 'hot' as short sleeved or sleeveless floral dresses in summer. Tx
