Review: Imperial Candles

Candles have to be one of my favourite items to collect. I love all the variations available on the market from the array scents you can buy to the pretty jars holding the wax and all the different shapes and sizes. I love walking into a room and seeing the flicker of a candle burning and the sweet aroma gently sifting through the air. Candles also help me relax. Whilst studying for my GCSES, A Levels and my degree, I would often have a candle burning and incense in my bedroom to help ease the stress. There is nothing more I love than having an endless supply of candles and being able to choose which scent suits my mood.

Imperial Candles* are 100% Natural Soy Wax Candle with a hidden jewel inside. The jewels are retrieved by burning down the candles and are gently wrapped in foil and additional packaging to prevent damage. The value of these hidden jewels are anything from £10 to £2,000 and comes in the pre-selected size you choose when ordering. At £28.99 per candle these make perfect gifts for friends and loved ones or a well deserved treat at the beginning of payday. What girl doesn't like candles and jewellery? It is a match made in heaven.

The White Jasmine candle is a delicate scent and is designed to evoke a sense of a light summer breeze, lifting the spirits and relaxing the body. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this scent as we found it not too overpowering and rather relaxing.

It took me approximately 6 to 8 hours to burn the candle down enough to find the ring. The ring was situated halfway down the candle which meant I didn't have to wait that long to find it and I still had plenty of the candle left to burn afterwards. The jewellery itself can be hard to retrieve, my husband and I resorted to jabbing the wax with a long match stick and ended up playing a 'hook a parcel' type game trying to grab the end of the foil. It was all worth it when I found this little sparkler inside. This particular ring was worth £20 and fits me perfectly. I'm in love with and have been wearing it quite often.

I'm really impressed by the quality of the my Imperial Candle. Everything from the beautiful shaped jar, the sensual relaxing scent and the final piece of jewellery matched my personality to a tee. I'm already looking to buy more in the future.

Have you tried an Imperial Candle before?
