London Retro Sunglasses

Sunglasses are one of my favourite accessorises, but living in UK doesn't always give me the opportunity to wear them. The gorgeous sunshine and heat we have received over the last few days has been the perfect time to style my favourite sun dresses and finally get use of my sunglasses collection. I have several pairs of sunglasses in varying styles from white rimmed 60s style tinted specs to my round celebrity style Gucci's. Although I love my designer sunglasses and I wear them most of the time, I have been longing for a pair of prescription sunglasses that I wear everyday - not just for special occasions.

Over the last few years, my eyesight has got progressively worse and although my optician tells me regularly to wear my reading glasses, I often don't. A few months ago I was sent a pair of London Retro reading glasses to wear and months after the review, I still believe them to be the best reading glasses I own. The prescription is spot on and the frame really suits my face shape. I have gone from never wearing reading glasses to wearing glasses a regular basis, but I still admit that it probably isn't enough if you knew how bad my eyesight really is.

With my last review in mind, I decided to re-visit Glasses Direct (link*) and search for a pair of prescription sunglasses and I came across these, the 'Piccadilly' London Retro sunglasses. The sunglasses have a timeless design and the tortoiseshell rim adds subtle glamour to the glasses.Since the tint is brown rather than black, the sunglasses give the illusion of a warmer skin tone when worn. At £95 they are a little bit pricey, but worth the money for those who are looking for a good pair of quality sunglasses with an affordable prescription.

Have you heard of London Retro Sunglasses?
