12 things to try at Christmas - Number 12

Chloe Perfume

Christmas seems to be going crazily fast at the moment and I'm finally at the end of my: "12 things to try at Christmas"blog postings. I've had such a fabulous Christmas this year and I'm so lucky to have been given so many beautiful items.  The final product I think that you should all try this Christmas or maybe in the new year, is the Chloe, Eau de Perfume.

At first glance, you are greeted with such a beautiful glass bottle, enhanced with a soft feminine bow. The glass bottle looks sophisticated, glamorous and everything a woman would probably desire for her dressing table.  I'm always drawn to old school glamour and I have a penchant for old hollywood actresses and I like this product, because it has vintage appeal. Looking at the perfume, it is easy to imagine the bottle sitting on Audrey Hepburn's dressing table or being another product Marilyn Monroe would have endorsed, despite being launched in 2008.

This fragrance oozes femininity with the lingering scent of flowers, especially roses. Many floral perfumes do have the habit of being too 'sweet', but the Chloe Eau De Perfume seems to have hit the right notes, with a soft discreet scent that fades into the skin, lingering for hours. I would say that this product lasts the longest out of my other perfumes and although it comes with the price tag of £39.99, it is worth every penny. The perfume can be bought from most high street beauty and fragrance retailers.

I simply can not believe that Christmas is almost over and tomorrow the countdown to 2012 begins.  It's been a rough, but exciting year and I'm looking forward to everything that 2012 brings.  At the bottom of this post is a few of my Christmas sale bargains for those of a voyeuristic nature and a few pictures of my 2011 Christmas.

• The ring was given to me by my auntie and the ring belong to my auntie who tragically passed away when I was small. My auntie thought it was the right time to give it me this Christmas.

There you go, as you can see I bought lots of new shoes and had a fabulous time with my lovely partner.

Let me know what you think of my new blog layout and I hope you have a fab weekend.

  7. I bought those black heels from Primark the other day! They're so gorgeous but I think I'm too tall with them on. I look like I'm tranny height :\ Haven't decided if I'll keep them yet, but for £16 they're such a good price. Hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year xx
